NEW SIGNING: Scott Williamson

The club is pleased to announce the signing of striker Scott Williamson on a deal until May 2026.

Williamson, 24, signed for Queen’s Park three years ago after a prolific spell with Cambuslang Rangers, netting 43 goals in 27 games in the first half of the 2021-22 season. 

The Fernhill man made 36 appearances for The Spiders whilst having loan spells at Cove Rangers and Kelty Hearts. His temporary stint at New Central Park this season proved fruitful, with a haul of nine goals for the Fife club.

Scott put pen to paper on a permanent deal after leaving Queen’s Park on Friday.

“Scott has been playing in the league above and has a good scoring rate so far this season; he’s a player I came up against last season too and he stood out.

“He’s got a lot of similar qualities to Taylor Sutherland; quick, strong, hardworking and he knows how to finish. Again we’ve been working on bringing Scott to the club for a while so I’m glad to get it over the line.”
