Stirling Albion 3-1 Clyde
Clyde’s winless run continued after falling to defeat at Forthbank this afternoon.
Interim Manager Neil Scally made two changes to the side from the last outing a fortnight ago, with Barry Cuddihy and Martin Rennie coming in for Craig Howie and Marley Redfern.
Goalkeeper Milosz Sliwinski also took a place on the bench after joining from Queen’s Park on an emergency loan deal, following an injury to Jay Kennedy.
The Binos took the lead in the 14th minute from a corner; the ball made its way to Dale Carrick and his shot from close range was tapped home by Josh Kerr just a couple of yards out.
The Bully Wee drew level in the 32rd minute when Martin Rennie’s cross from out wide was flicked into the corner of the net by Robbie Leitch from the centre of the box.
Stirling retook the lead 20 minutes after the restart when Hamilton and McKay both challenged for the same ball in the air which allowed Dale Hilson to run through and slot beyond Robbie Hemfrey.
The hosts sealed the points ten minutes later. A clear handball was missed in the buildup by referee Alex Shepherd before Dale Carrick played a clever pass to Hilson and then got on the receiving end of a cut back to rifle into the net.
