David Hunter Appointed to Board

The club is pleased to announce that David Hunter has been appointed to the Board of Directors. Initially, David will serve on the club board until the 2024 AGM, at which point he will be put forward for election to a three-year term.

Outgoing chairman, Gordon Thomson welcomed the addition, commenting:-

“David joined the relocation effort at a crucial period just over a year ago when the application for Crownpoint was in its final stages. It became apparent early on that he had skills and experience which would benefit the project in the longer term, and for that reason we initially formalised his role in the capacity of an Associate Director.

“His appointment to the full responsibilities of a director is a natural progression for someone with the drive and commitment to contribute to the club across a fuller remit.”

Accepting the appointment, David Hunter added:-

“I am delighted and honoured to take a full position on the Board of Directors. Being a third-generation Clyde supporter this role holds a wider significance for me.

“As we prepare for the upcoming season and beyond, it’s clear the club is entering a critical but exciting period in our history. I am committed to excelling in all that I do for the club to help achieve the objectives the board is tasked with.”
