NEW SIGNING: Brian Kinnear

The club is pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Brian Kinnear on a deal until the end of the current campaign.

The 23-year-old has been a free agent since leaving English Premier League side West Ham United in the summer.

Kinnear began his career in the academy at Rangers before signing for The Hammers in the summer of 2021. He played for the U21 side in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy, and spent the second half of last season on loan at Falkirk.

The 6’4” ‘keeper was also capped twice by Scotland at under-21 level in 2021.

Ian McCall commented:-

“The goalkeeping department is the only area we’ve not strengthened before today so I’m happy to be able to bring Brian in. He’s big, athletic and will be a commanding presence in our penalty box.

“Despite not having played too much first team football for his age, Brian has a really good pedigree and has developed his skills at high quality environments at Rangers and West Ham.”
