Mark Kerr Joins Coaching Staff

The club is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Kerr to the backroom staff in the role of First Team Coach.

Kerr, 41, enjoyed a long playing career, most notably with Falkirk, Aberdeen and Dundee United, before succeeding Ian McCall as manager of Ayr United in October 2019.

Mark spent just under eighteen months in the hotseat at Somerset Park, and most recently was assistant manager at Edinburgh City. He was in the Clyde dugout last Saturday for the victory over Bonnyrigg Rose.

Ian McCall commented:-

“I’m delighted to bring in Mark to strengthen the coaching staff. Mark is someone I’ve known for over 20 years and worked with at three different clubs. He is enthusiastic to further develop his coaching skills and he will be a great asset to the club with plenty of valuable experience he can pass on to the squad.”
