The Clyde FC Foundation is delighted to be taking part in the SPFL Trust Festive Friends event again this year. The Festive Friends event is targeted at elderly people who are at risk of social isolation. We had a great event last year as we partnered up with Glasgow’s Golden Generation to accommodate their day centre attendees.
This year we are excited to announce the event will take place on the 30th December at our home game against Stenhousemuir. We look forward to welcoming our festive friends to New Douglas Park and treating them to a 2-course meal, half time refreshments, a Q&A with ex-players and some full-time entertainment with some of the current squad and management.

“I am excited we are taking part in the Festive Friends event again this year after a successful event last year. It was great to work with Glasgow’s Golden Generation and their day centre attendees however I am excited to be bringing the event to our Clyde FC home game. I look forward to meeting all our festive friends and hope we can put on a cracking day for them.”
