Associate Director Appointment
The club is pleased to announce that the marketing role advertised on our website and social media channels recently has now been filled. Following board approval, Clyde fan Andrew Clark has been appointed to a newly created position of Associate Director for Marketing. Andrew began his career in journalism based in Scotland, but is now employed in Malta as the Head of Creative Department for a multinational gaming company.
Chairman Gordon Thomson commented:- “Marketing is an area which we have been keen to enhance for some time. It is a big job and one that is very important for the club as we move forward. I’m delighted that Andrew has volunteered to support the club in this way and bring to the role the experience and expertise he has gained in Scotland and abroad. It is vital that we improve how we interact not only with our existing supporters but to help us as we engage with new communities and commercial partners as we seek to return to Glasgow.”
Andrew added:- “I am delighted to join the club in this role and I hope my years of support from the stands combined with my professional experience can help to drive improvements in the areas of marketing and communication.
“Effective interaction between the club and fans is essential and I am looking forward to getting started and doing what we can to improve in this area as well as the wider brand and marketing remit of the role.”
