Paul Kelly Memorial Cup
Supporters will get the chance to see The Bully Wee in pre-season action this weekend as they compete in the Paul Kelly Memorial Cup on Saturday and Sunday.
The four team tournament also features West of Scotland League sides Caledonian Locomotives (formerly known as Rossvale), Glasgow Perthshire and St Roch’s. The matches will take place at Petershill Park.
Clyde will face off against Caledonian Locomotives at 1pm on Saturday, with St Roch’s taking on Glasgow Perthshire at 4pm. The winners and losers from the Saturday ties will then play each other on Sunday, with arrangements to be confirmed on Saturday evening.
The tournament will be played in memory of Paul Kelly, who sadly passed away in November 2021 whilst manager of St Roch’s. Paul was a well-known face in Glasgow footballing circles, and also had a short spell as a player with The Bully Wee towards the end of the 1986-87 season, making one appearance for the club.
Donations can be made at the gate over the weekend in lieu of set admission prices.
