New Signing: Stuart Carswell

We are pleased to announce the signing of Stuart Carswell who joins the Bully Wee for the 2023-24 campaign. 

Carswell came through the Motherwell academy before breaking into the first team and making 86 appearances in his 4 year spell at the Steelmen. 

Stuart then moved onto St Mirren before having a brief stint in Iceland joining Keflavik in 2016. 

He then moved back to Scotland and joined Dumbarton where he has spent the last 6 and a half years, playing a total of 224 games for the Sons. Carswell ended his time at the Rock playing as a centre back but played most of his career in midfield. 

Brian McLean commented on the signings of Ross and Stuart Carswell: “It’s good to get some fresh faces into the club to build the squad. Ross and Stuart will definitely be a boost, especially with their experience in League 1 and 2 which will help the team greatly.”
