Kelty Hearts 0-0 Clyde
The Bully Wee recorded a second goalless draw in succession, in an evenly matched game against Kelty Hearts this afternoon.
Jim Duffy made three changes to his XI with Ryan Mullen and Ryan McGeever missing through illness and injury respectively, and Martin Rennie dropping to the bench. Neil Parry, Erik Sula and Euan Cameron came into the starting line-up, with Ross Cunningham also missing out due to a knock.
In a game of few chances the first opportunity fell to the hosts when Jamie Barjonas won possession and drove forward before feeding the ball to Kallum Higginbotham. He sent a cross to the back post where Barjonas made a run to, but Parry made a big save to deny his header.
After the interval Barjonas was involved again with a run down the wing before playing in Joe Cardle, but Parry was out quickly and foiled his effort.
As the match entered the final stages a Clyde free-kick into the box was knocked down into the path of Conner Duthie near the penalty spot and he volleyed a shot towards target, but it was blocked by the body of a defender and sent behind for a corner.
