PREVIEW: Clyde v Montrose

The Bully Wee return to cinch League 1 action at New Douglas Park tomorrow for the first time in 5 weeks with Montrose providing the opposition.

Montrose moved into the promotion playoff places on Tuesday night after a 4-2 victory over Airdrieonians. The Gable Endies won the previous meeting between the sides 2-1 at Links Park in August, a result which has started a run of five consecutive league defeats for Clyde.

Conner Duthie continues to be ruled out but there are no other squad changes expected from last Saturday’s trip to Falkirk.

Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the game:-

“Our return to league duty against Falkirk highlighted that we have work to do to get ourselves back to winning ways in this league. I believe we have the players and coaches to achieve that. Together, we need to up our game and make positive things happen.

“Success comes when we do ordinary things extraordinarily well. Getting the basics right by taking care to ensure we win our tackles, complete our passes and are decisive in both boxes propels performances and results in the right direction.”
