Shirt Recognition for Glasgow Branch

Eagle-eyed observers at Saturday’s match will have noticed that in a first for the club, and possibly unprecedented further afield, the name and logo of our largest supporter’s club has been added to the player’s shirts for this season.

This has come about in recognition of the support that the Glasgow Branch has offered the club, both financially and vocally, with many thousands having been raised and donated in recent years and the vociferous support even making its presence felt as far afield as Forfar at a time when lockdown restrictions meant the travelling fans had to support the club from outside the ground!

The addition has met with approval from both the players and the management team, and it’s perhaps appropriate that the branch name appears on the reverse of the shirt given the role they have often played as the 12th man when the players on the pitch needed a lift.
