Hughie Connor

All at the club were saddened to learn of the recent passing of lifelong fan Hughie Connor, aged 86.

Hughie travelled the country watching The Bully Wee home and away until health forced him to stop in recent years. Hughie was in attendance to see Clyde lift the Scottish Cup in 1955 and 1958, and his all-time favourite player was Tommy Ring.

Hughie’s funeral will take place at Linn Crematorium on Friday 30th September at 3pm, and Clyde fans are welcome to attend.
