Clyde Fall to Glasgow Cup Defeat
A very experimental Clyde side suffered a heavy loss to an impressive Rangers B outfit at the Rangers Training Centre this evening in the City of Glasgow Cup.
Tony Weston opened the scoring for the hosts in the opening minutes, and the same player then saw a shot saved by Clyde’s ‘keeper, only for Ross McCausland to fire home the rebound. Cole McKinnon then increased the advantage from the penalty spot on the half-time whistle.
The young Gers side were rampant in the second half and netted a further six goals, with Kane Ritchie-Hosler, who had a loan spell at Broadwood last season, in particularly impressive form.
