2021 AGM Delayed
With Government projections on the rapid transmission of the latest Covid Omicron, and the increase in restrictions, the 2021 Annual General Meeting, planned for Thursday 16th December will be delayed.
Gordon Thomson, Chairman, stated:-
“It is not ideal and immensely frustrating to delay the AGM but we believe this was the right option to take at this time. In truth if we had gone ahead with a face to face meeting, then I would have likely to have adjourned on the night itself not only for the safety and wellbeing of our owners but because the current circumstances place a severe restriction on the ability for people to participate.
“The AGM is an opportunity for individuals to learn information, question the Board and vote on key issues. This was going to be lessened by many being unable to attend as the pandemic continues to affect us.”
The new date for the AGM will be Thursday 20th January 2022 at 7.30pm and based on the continuing uncertainty caused by the pandemic, the meeting will now be held virtually.
Further detailed arrangements will be circulated within the necessary timescales and this will include guidance on proxy voting. We hope owners will understand our actions and recognise that we do this in order to ensure the safety of all but also to maximise as best we can the participation of the ownership for this important meeting.
