Danny Hopes for Great Away Support

Clyde manager Danny Lennon spoke to the official website this week as he hopes for a good travelling support for the long journey north to Peterhead for the cinch League 1 fixture:

“I know these past 18 months have been tough for everyone. It feels like the world has been turned upside down. People associated with this great club have lost loved ones, jobs, relationships and health during the pandemic. When times are tough, we can seek strength from those around us.

“Everyone who loves this club is a part of a very special community. A family. Each of these losses affect all of us, in some way. Those who feel these losses can be helped by all of us drawing closer together. Football may not be the most important thing in our lives, but in times of adversity, joining together to rally behind the team can provide us with the drive to meet our bigger challenges and move forward in life.

“This Saturday, the team make the challenging trip to Peterhead. It would be wonderful to have a great level of support there, cheering on the team. The energy from our support on away fixtures like this can give that extra fuel needed to get the job done and go back down the road with a positive result.

“Please, if you can, play your part. Be there. Let your voice be heard and let’s see what we can achieve, together.

We are the Bully Wee.” – Danny
