PREVIEW: Falkirk v Clyde
Clyde make the short trip to The Falkirk Stadium in cinch League 1 to take on Falkirk tomorrow afternoon.
The Bairns are currently unbeaten so far in the league, with 2 wins and a draw seeing them sit on 7 points. Clyde sit below them on 4 points and will be looking to build on last week’s 2-1 win against Alloa Athletic.
Falkirk won both meetings between the sides last season with a 3-0 victory at Broadwood, and then 2-1 at The Falkirk Stadium.
Barry Cuddihy will be back in the squad for this clash, whereas Adam Livingstone will be doubtful after coming off injured during last Saturday’s match.
Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the game:-
“The thing that is paramount for us at the moment, after picking up points in our last couple of league games is improving our football and the way that we want to go and play. No matter who the opponent is, we want to improve our performances in the next match.
“The players have worked hard in training to try and continue that, and a big part is them all enjoying their football. The players start to understand after a good result that they want to get more, and to get more results like that then they need to keep buying into what we’re doing.
“We are striving for a level of consistency, we won’t always hit the peaks of where we want to be, but that’s what we have to aim for week in and week out.”
