PREVIEW: Clyde v East Fife

Clyde play the final fixture of the 2020-21 League 1 campaign this evening, as East Fife make the trip to Broadwood in the game that was rearranged from last Tuesday.

The match is, of course, being played behind closed doors. Season Card holders have access to the Clyde FC Live stream via their card balance integration.

All other supporters of both clubs can purchase a pay-per-view ticket for £12. Click here for full details.

Please remember that the match has a slightly earlier than usual kick-off time of 7pm.

The Bully Wee go into the game knowing that only a win will do in order to avoid going into the League 1 play-offs, following Dumbarton’s 3-2 win against Peterhead on Tuesday night.

Danny Lennon has Marky Munro returning from suspension for the match. However, Craig Howie will unfortunately miss the game as he suffered a fractured cheekbone following a nasty collision in Saturday’s win over Dumbarton.

The Clyde manager spoke to the official website ahead of the crucial game:-

“It was always the case that we would treat this as a must win game. We were in on Tuesday night to prepare – obviously we heard how the scoring in the other game was going and you have to give Dumbarton credit as they got what they set out to do. It is still in our own hands, so we have to go out onto that pitch and earn it.

“I wish I could put every single supporter in a Clyde jersey for this match, because the passion that they have for this club oozes out of them and that is such a great thing to have in both football and life in general.

“We know what this means to them and, together, we will go out to try and achieve what we have set out to do. We will give everything.”
