PREVIEW: Forfar Athletic v Clyde

Clyde play the final League 1 match before the split tonight, away to Forfar Athletic at Station Park.

The Bully Wee sit ninth in the league table as it stands, following Thursday night’s defeat to Dumbarton, currently seven points above The Loons.

The previous game between the two sides this season ended in a 3-0 win for Clyde at Broadwood.

Clyde have no further injuries to the squad that faced St. Johnstone on Saturday, including David Mitchell who had recovered enough from his injury to be named on the bench. Michael McGlinchey and David Wilson will be available again, after missing the match in Perth due to being cup tied.

Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the game:-

“The business end of the season is always exciting – it’s just a shame that the fans can’t be there to cheer us on and share it with us. Football is all about fine margins and in our last league game against Dumbarton we found ourselves on the wrong side of those margins.

“From now until the end of the season, how this season will be remembered is entirely in our own hands. We have to grab every opportunity in every game that is remaining. We might think at times that we might not get the break of the ball, but we need to make our own luck and make sure we’re on the right side of every result coming up.”

You can watch the match live via Forfar’s streaming platform for a £12 pay-per-view fee. Click here for full details.

Kick-off at Station Park is at 7.45pm.
