PREVIEW: Falkirk v Clyde

Clyde are once again in action today, with a short trip to  The Falkirk Stadium to face League 1 leaders Falkirk.

The Bairns have won both previous meetings between the sides this season, winning 2-1 in the Betfred Cup and 3-0 on league duty.

Danny Lennon expects to have the same squad available that won 3-0 against Forfar Athletic on Thursday night and the Clyde manager spoke to the official website ahead of the game:-

“Every team we play presents a big challenge. As I said before the last game, everybody is fighting and the league is really hotting up in terms of the sprint finish now. Once you get to that part of the race, it’s the most consistent teams that will be up there. We are doing everything that we can to climb the table and get ourselves into a good position.

“Challenges don’t come much tougher than the league leaders away from home. However, these are the challenges that every player and every coach should relish. We want to test ourselves against the best, there’s no doubt about that.”
