Peterhead 3-0 Clyde

The Bully Wee suffered a second half collapse in Peterhead this afternoon, with The Blue Toon scoring three goals after the interval to take all three points.

Danny Lennon stuck with the same team that won at Forfar on Tuesday evening, with Tom Lang and Michael McGlinchey still missing.

The first half was a fairly scrappy affair but Clyde came closest to opening the scoring when Lewis Jamieson saw his powerful drive saved by Lenny Wilson.

The hosts took the lead from the penalty spot nine minutes after the restart after a late challenge from Kevin Nicoll in the box. Scott Brown made no mistake and sent David Mitchell the wrong way.

The Blue Toon doubled their lead just two minutes later. A long-free kick was nodded on by Jason Brown into the path of the unmarked Hamish Ritchie, who slotted beyond Mitchell.

Peterhead were then reduced to ten men when Jason Brown picked up a second yellow card after breaking up a promising Clyde attack.

Ally Love and Lloyd Robertson saw goalbound efforts blocked in the same passage of play, before the home side scored a third to seal the points. Ritchie stole the ball off Craig Howie before driving towards goal and rolled the ball past Mitchell.

The Bully Wee were unable to nab a consolation goal, with Wilson making a fine save in the closing minutes to deny Ross Cunningham.
