PREVIEW: Clyde v East Fife
Clyde return to League 1 action for the first time since December tomorrow, as East Fife visit Broadwood.
The match is, of course, being played behind closed doors. Season Card holders have access to the Clyde FC Live stream via their card balance integration.
All other supporters of both clubs can purchase a pay-per-view ticket for £12. Click here for full details.
It’s the first meeting between the sides in the 2020-21 season, following the postponement of the first fixture back in November.
No fewer than six players could potentially make their debut for The Bully Wee, following several additions to the first team squad since the transfer window opened in January.
Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the restart:-
“We’re really looking forward to getting back into action. It’s been a long time coming and we’ve worked very hard in the short space of time that we’ve been back together. It’s a very vigorous games programme, but we’re certainly up for the challenge. Hopefully we don’t encounter too many injuries or suspensions but we’re back playing now and that’s the most important thing. We’ll go out there and take each game as it comes and try get some good solid performances, good results and build upon that.
“We want to take everything we had in the first few earlier games – the bits we did well and, in the short space of time we’ve been back, we’ve worked on what we can improve on to try to put those things right. I look forward to seeing that come to fruition.
“I’m still absolutely gutted we still can’t have the fans in, they mean so much. However, it’s great to know that they’ll be at home live streaming the game and we want to entertain them and give them the football that they deserve. We miss them, especially those moments when we score and we have those moments where the players run to the supporters. They’re the moments that I cherish and I can’t wait for them to return.”
