Lang Agrees Pre-Contract Move
The club can confirm that Tom Lang has agreed a pre-contract deal with Raith Rovers and he will move to the Kirkcaldy club ahead of the 2021-22 season.
The 23-year-old defender is currently in his third spell with The Bully Wee, having signed from Dunfermline Athletic in October.
Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-
“We had spoken Tom and he knew that we wanted him to stay at Clyde, but I completely understand his desire to return to full-time football. John McGlynn was good enough to speak to me about his interest in Tom and we’ll wish him well at Raith Rovers when the time comes.
“I know that Tom will continue to be fully committed to Clyde for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign, as and when it resumes. He’ll have a big part to play in what could be a very busy few months ahead.”
Tom added:-
“Everybody knows how much I enjoy being a part of this great football club, but the opportunity of going full-time again, with a club at the top of the Championship, was one that I wanted to take.
“I will continue to give my all until the end of the season and I look forward to rising up the league table and having a good cup run when the games come back. We have missed you all as supporters this season and it hasn’t been the same without you.”
