Chris Moves On

Goalkeeping coach Chris Fahey has stepped down from his role with immediate effect.

Chris joined Clyde in 2018 and was part of the first team staff who delivered a long-awaited promotion at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Chris, who has decided to focus on his young family and business commitments, commented that he “thoroughly enjoyed his time at a wonderful club.”

Clyde manager, Danny Lennon said:-

“I would like to put on record my personal thanks for the tremendous work that Chris has put in to move Clyde forward over the past three years. He has been a key and trusted member of the coaching staff here.

“I will certainly miss his vital input, as he has been an integral part of all of our success. I wish him every success with his business ventures and future endeavours.”

In other staff news, the club is delighted to confirm the appointment of Willie Neil as kitman. Willie is a vastly experienced kitman in the Scottish game, including 13 years with the national team. His appointment follows the departures of former kitmen, Joe Hayes and Andy Quinn.
