PREVIEW: Dumbarton v Clyde
Clyde travel to Dumbarton tomorrow night for the next match in the 2020-21 League 1 campaign.
The game was originally due to be played on the 24th October, but had to be re-arranged due to a waterlogged pitch. It will now kick-off at the slightly earlier than usual time of 7pm.
Clyde will be without loan player Cameron Palmer, as the midfielder picked up an injury against Peterhead early into his debut.
Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the match:-
“It was a thoroughly disappointing result and performance on Saturday, but tomorrow gives us an opportunity to put it behind us. I addressed a few things right after the game; we didn’t want to dwell on it as we knew we had to move on quickly to this match.
“Prior to Saturday, it had been a decent start, but it really highlighted that you have to do more than take part and compete in a game of football. You need to have that winning siege mentality.
“I’m hoping that both the young players and even the more experienced ones, have taken a lot from that game, just as I have. That can only help us move forward.”
