PREVIEW: Clyde v Peterhead

Clyde’s League 1 campaign resumes today as Peterhead make the trip down to Broadwood.

The match is, of course, being played behind closed doors due to the current Covid-19 situation. Season Card holders have access to the Clyde FC Live stream via their card balance integration.

All other supporters of both clubs can purchase a pay-per-view ticket for £12. Click here for full details.

The Bully Wee are back in action following last week’s postponed fixture away to Dumbarton, whereas Peterhead will be looking to get their first points of the season after defeats to Airdrieonians and Cove Rangers.

Clyde have no changes from the squad that was set to be available for the Dumbarton match, which included Jay Henderson, who is available for selection again following a self-isolation period.

Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the match:-

“It was disappointing that the game was off last week, but we’ve had a solid start to the season and we’re looking to continue that against a team that have always been a challenge for us. I believe that we’re in a good place, but that isn’t where games are won or lost, it’s all down to what you bring on the day.

“Jim McInally has done a tremendous job at Peterhead and in every game we’ve played against each other there’s never really been much to split the teams.

“We want to be at the right end of the table and to do that we have to take care of our home games. If we being the key ingredients that we have and shown over pre-season and the game against Partick Thistle, then there’s no reason why we can’t continue our good start today.”
