Clyde 3-0 St Mirren Colts
The Bully Wee will play Stirling Albion tomorrow in the final of The Broadwood Cup, after cruising past St Mirren Colts this afternoon.
Clyde took the lead with just over 90 seconds on the clock when Ross Cunningham robbed his opponent on the edge of the box and played in David Goodwillie, who slotted beyond the ‘keeper.
Cunningham doubled the advantage in the 34th minute after getting on the end of Josh Jack’s bouncing shot across goal and tapped the ball into the net.
It was 3-0 three minutes from the interval after Jamie Bain was tripped in the box. Goodwillie made no mistake from the spot, waiting for the ‘keeper to dive before chipping the ball down the middle of the goal.
