Love Agrees New Contract

The club is pleased to announce that Ally Love is extending his stay at The Bully Wee, with the forward agreeing a new one-year contract ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Love joined Clyde in 2018 and has featured in 72 matches to date, scoring some crucial goals, including the winning penalty in the 2019 play-off final.

Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-

“We have a number of players here at Clyde who lead by example on the pitch, in the dressing room and at training. They are all so fantastic at encouraging, challenging, nurturing and bringing the best out of others. Ally is one of the best players I’ve worked with who fits that profile.

“He gives 100% at all times and always puts the team first. He has played a huge part in the transformation at Clyde, scoring some very important goals along the way of our success.”

The list of players currently contracted for the 2020-21 campaign is; Barry Cuddihy, David Goodwillie, Craig Howie, Chris Johnston, Mark Lamont, Ally Love, Michael McGee, Martin McNiff, David Mitchell and Scott Rumsby.
