Clyde View Named as Winner

The Clyde View, the club’s official match publication, has been voted as League 1’s best programme of the 2019-20 season, by the country’s leading programme magazine.

Programme Monthly and Football Collectable reviews the match programmes of every club in the UK and recently published the Scottish rankings, which saw the Clyde View again top its league chart, following the same accolade in League 2 last year.

The issue reviewed scored an impressive 93.6% score, followed by Dumbarton’s Sons View (88.4%) and Stranraer’s Beyond the Bandstand (86%).

Programme Monthly commented:-

“Clyde regularly produce an award-winning programme, and it’s not hard to see why. An issue that has everything in abundance and is very well written. In terms of historical content, it’s right up there with the very best, including the SPL. It’s an astonishing amount of reading.

“History apart, the opponents get excellent full-on coverage (five full pages). Match reports, player interviews, community news, a broader outlook on a couple of other topics relevant to the game today, a nod to Walking Football and you have a near-perfect football programme. At £3 it’s at the top of the price range in this Division, but you get your money’s worth and more. It’s a gem.”

Congratulations to Clyde View editor, John Taylor and all of the contributors during the season.
