Sam Hastings

All at the club were extremely saddened to learn of the passing of former player, Sam Hastings.

Sam, who joined Clyde from Hamilton Accies in August 1964, played 290 competitive matches for The Bully Wee, scoring 59 goals from his outside left slot.

During the very successful 1966-67 season, Sam played in 41 of the 49 matches and contributed six goals as Clyde finished third in the league, reached the Scottish Cup semi-final and (technically) qualified for Europe.
