End of Season Awards
Following the early conclusion to the 2019-20 season, the club can now give an update on end of season awards.
Player of the Year
Traditionally, the club’s main Player of the Year award is voted for by supporters in attendance at a home match near the end of the campaign. With this not being possible, an online vote will instead take place.
Club owners and season ticket holders can place their vote by emailing poty@clydefc.co.uk with their chosen squad member. Please include your name to validate your vote. The deadline is Thursday 7th May.
Website Player of the Year
The Website Player of the Year trophy is awarded based on Man of the Match votes made by club owners throughout the season. Given the total points after 39 competitive matches across all competitions, Ray Grant has been confirmed as the winner of the award for the second year running, with a close outcome overall.
The top five players were:-
1. Ray Grant – 33 pts
2. David Mitchell – 28
3. Craig Howie – 27
4. David Goodwillie – 26
5. Scott Rumsby – 25

Congratulations to Ray!
Goal of the Season
Voting for the club’s Goal of the Season will take place in the usual way, via an online vote. This will open in the coming days, with the shortlist of six goals being revealed. Look out for a separate update on the website soon.
Presentations
Confirmation of the physical presentation of awards – including other branch/club organised awards – will follow, with consideration given to the latest government guidelines at the appropriate time.
