PREVIEW: Clyde v East Fife

The Bully Wee return to Broadwood tomorrow, to take on East Fife in Ladbrokes League 1.

It’s the third meeting of the sides during the 2019-20 campaign, with honours even so far, following two closely-fought draws at either home.

For Clyde, Barry Cuddihy is suspended, but Chris McStay is expected to return to the squad following a back injury.

Speaking to the official website this evening, Danny Lennon said:-

“There’s a lot of excitement around the squad following the cup draw, but we’re totally focussed on tomorrow. East Fife are a very steady side and always dangerous going forward. The weather played a big part in our last meeting at Bayview but it was a good contest and I felt that we had the better chances towards the end of the game.

“I’m looking forward to tomorrow immensely and it’ll be good to be back on our own turf. As always, we’ll respect the opposition but focus on what we can bring to the game.

“The squad is starting to look healthier now and it gives us some difficult decisions to make – it’s a nice headache for myself and the staff to have.”
