PREVIEW: Peterhead v Clyde

The Bully Wee make the long journey north to Balmoor Stadium tomorrow, to take on Peterhead in Ladbrokes League 1.

Clyde expect to travel with the same squad that won against Airdrie last week, with a number of players continuing to be ruled out through injury.

Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the game:-

“I thought the boys played excellently last week and thoroughly deserved the win. We asked the team to compete in and out of possession and I thought they did that really well. The hunger and the energy we had without the ball were there to be seen. Overall, it was a really pleasing day and we expect to build momentum from that and bring those same ingredients week in, week out.

“I always like going up to Peterhead. The pitch is always good and we can only hope the wind is kind to us! The last couple of times we’ve met have been good games of football. They managed to get the upper hand on us in the last match at Broadwood, where I thought they were excellent in the first half. We were probably unfortunate not to take anything from that game by the end though.

“The fans turned up in good numbers last week and helped create a good atmosphere in the stadium. I would say to all those that are travelling tomorrow to be safe and be careful if they are driving and also to enjoy the game.”

Entry prices at Balmoor are:-

  • Ground – adult £14, concession £7, child free
  • Stand – adult £16, concession £9, child £2

All fans are welcome in the newly refurbished Social Club Bar and the brand new ‘Coffee Shop at Balmoor’ before and after the game.
