PREVIEW: Clyde v Forfar Athletic

Clyde take on Forfar Athletic at Broadwood in Ladbrokes League 1 tomorrow.

The visitors currently sit three points behind The Bully Wee in the table and Clyde will be looking to get back to winning ways after last week’s defeat to Dumbarton.

Craig Howie will miss out through injury, but Ally Love and Kieran Duffie both returned to training this week and are expected to be available for selection.

Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of tomorrow’s match:-

“We’ve worked hard in training this week. Last week certainly highlighted how tight the margins are in this league. I thought we played very well in the first half but after Dumbarton got their equaliser we lost composure.

“A big hallmark of my time at Clyde has been the winning mentality that we’ve shown. That’s how we achieved promotion last season and it also helped us get positive results against three Championship clubs in cup competition. We know the challenges that moving up a league presents and we need to start believing in ourselves again and playing our own brand of football.

“Tomorrow we welcome a hungry Forfar side, who got a very positive result last weekend against a good Peterhead side, so we’re expecting a very tough game for a valuable three points as both teams look to move up the table. We share the frustrations the fans will be feeling at this moment and we know that if we start showing more of our true strengths then we’ll pick up points more often than not.”
