PREVIEW: Clyde v Dumbarton

After three consecutive away matches, Clyde return to Broadwood this weekend to face Dumbarton in Ladbrokes League 1.

Kieran Duffie and Ross Lyon continue to be ruled out through injury, but Darren Smith will come back into the squad after missing the midweek game against East Fife.

Clyde won the first match between the two sides earlier in the season, but The Sons currently sit a point above The Bully Wee in the table.

Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of tomorrow’s match:-

“Every time we take to the pitch we expect a challenge from each opposition. Dumbarton have got a good amount of points on the board and we know it’s going to be a real challenge again. We have now managed to get three clean sheets on the trot and we’re certainly creating more than enough chances.

“We’re starting to find ourselves with more of a clean bill of health and Chris Johnston got on for the last twenty minutes on Tuesday, which was great.

“It’s been a while since we last played at Broadwood and we always welcome it. It’s always great to see the fans and we always fancy ourselves on our home patch.”
