PREVIEW: Clyde v Raith Rovers
Clyde return to Ladbrokes League 1 action this weekend, as leaders Raith Rovers make the trip to Broadwood.
The two sides met earlier in the season at Stark’s Park, when Rovers came away 5-2 winners.
Kristoffer Syvertsen, John Rankin and Declan Fitzpatrick continue to be sidelined due to injury for The Bully Wee.
Speaking to the official website ahead of the game, Danny Lennon said:-
“I think we can take a lot from last week’s win away to Arbroath. We learnt a lot about ourselves against Montrose – that if we don’t play to our strengths then we can be very ordinary. If I’m honest, there was very little to take in terms of positives from that game, but it showed that unless we’re firing on all cylinders in this league then we’ll get punished.
“Raith Rovers currently occupy top spot in the league and we aspire to be much closer to that position at the end of the season. When we met at the start of the season we suffered a heavy defeat, so we have a great opportunity to show how much we’ve learned and grown since then.
“We’re always trying to make our home ground our fortress; we want teams to come here and find it hard to get something. Equally, we have to be at our best to make that happen and that’s what we plan to do tomorrow.”
