McGee Joins First Team Squad

The club is pleased to announce the addition of goalkeeper Michael McGee to the first team squad for the 2019-20 season.

McGee, 18, is formerly of Airdrie and joined the club on amateur terms last year. He spent time on loan at Bathgate Thistle last season and has now been awarded a first team contract ahead of the new campaign.

Danny Lennon said:-

“Michael is an excellent young ‘keeper and we’ve been really impressed by him during his time at Clyde so far. He’s a local lad from Cumbernauld with a fantastic attitude.

“He can now continue to progress and learn a lot from our goalkeeping coach Chris Fahey, David Mitchell and all of the other staff and experienced players at the club.”
