PREVIEW: Clyde v Annan Athletic

The 2018-19 campaign comes to an exciting end tomorrow, with the second leg of the Ladbrokes League 1 play-off final at Broadwood.

The Galabankies have a narrow advantage following Tuesday’s first leg in Annan, with Chris Johnston getting the only goal of the game to separate the sides in a hard-fought encounter.

The Bully Wee have no new injury concerns following the midweek match.

Speaking to the official website this evening, Danny Lennon said:-

“It’s the final match of a fantastic season and we’ll try to turn it into an even better one. There’s a great prize on offer to both sides and, as I said on Monday, it’s between the two form sides in the league.

“We’re at half-time in the tie and we have come good several times previously this season when we have had to turn a match around in the second half. We’ve got to show the good form that we have for the vast majority of the season, with the same work rate and also bring that winning mentality that we’ve called upon so often.

“We know how hard a challenge Annan bring and they’ve got something to hold onto now, so we’ll need to be at our best to have a chance of getting the result we need.

“There’s going to be a terrific atmosphere at Broadwood tomorrow and we need one last push from everyone. The supporters have been tremendous all season and it would be great if we can get the job done for them.”
