PREVIEW: Annan Athletic v Clyde
The first leg of the Ladbrokes League 1 play-off final takes place at Galabank tomorrow night.
The two sides have become familiar rivals in recent seasons and the fight for promotion will continue on Saturday, as the second leg takes place at Broadwood.
For Clyde, there are no new injury concerns following the semi-final win over Edinburgh City.
Speaking to the official website today, Danny Lennon said:-
“For me, it’s the right final between the two form teams in the league. Like us, Annan have had a great run in the second half of the season and it has the makings of a great contest.
“For us it’s important that we keep doing what we have been doing well, take it up another level again and also enjoy the experience. As with any game, we’ll respect the strengths of our opponent but also focus on bringing our own qualities to the match. I thought the players were outstanding on Saturday and there were a lot of positives to take from it.
“Our supporters were fantastic again at Edinburgh and at Broadwood on Saturday. I know it’s a bit of a trek for them on a Tuesday night so I hope they all travel safely and enjoy the occasion.”
