NEW SIGNING: Tony Wallace

The club is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Tony Wallace from Annan Athletic.

Wallace was a regular feature in the Galabankies team during the 2018-19 campaign, with 46 appearances and a return of 13 goals. His other previous clubs include Dumbarton, Greenock Morton, Nairn County and East Fife.

The 28-year-old today signed a two-year deal with The Bully Wee.

Clyde manager Danny Lennon said:-

“We are delighted to have acquired Tony for next season. He ticks a lot of boxes for us and can play in a number of positions.

“We have been looking for players to add to our talented squad that have League 1 experience, great athleticism and great technical ability. Tony is a big presence in both boxes and will fit into our style of play very well. He has an eye for goal, having scored 13 goals this season.

“We are very much looking forward to seeing Tony perform to the best of his ability in a Clyde shirt.”
