Successful Season for Clyde Powerchair
On Sunday at The Peak in Stirling, Clyde Alba won the Scottish Powerchair Premier League for the second year in a row.
Alba finished ahead of closest rivals Tayside Dynamos by a small margin. Equal on points at the end of the season, the head-to-head between the two teams earned Clyde the title again.
Clyde Caledonia missed out on second place in the Championship by one point, but it was a great effort by all of the players, winning eight of their last nine games.
Members of the powerchair teams are attending Clyde’s match against Berwick Rangers tomorrow and will be in the Arria Lounge from 1pm with the league trophy. Please support the players and feel free to speak to them about the sport, get pictures taken, post on social media and spread the word about Powerchair Football.
Congratulations to Alba and Caledonia for an excellent 2018-19 campaign.
