Race Night is a Winner

Saturday’s Race Night fundraising event at Broadwood turned out to be a big success.

All in attendance, including members of the first team squad, enjoyed the racing action and the curry menu that was served in the Arria Lounge.

The auction was also well received, with the various Clyde-minded and other items proving popular and being purchased for generous sums. One of the highlights was the first team matchday travel experience, which raised over £300.

In a much-appreciated gesture, the players in attendance also contributed to the auction by successfully bidding for a Bully Wee jersey, before donating it to a supporter.

The final total raised on the evening was an excellent £2,600.

As well as all those in attendance, the club would like to thank the event’s lead organiser, Paul Shanks and the team of volunteers who contributed to the running of the evening, including John Anderson, John Boyce, Richie Duncan, Graham Murray, Dean McKirdy and Lynne Shanks.
