LOAN SIGNING: Scott Banks

The club is pleased to announce the loan signing of Scott Banks from Dundee United.

Scott, 17, is an attacking midfielder or winger and signed his first professional contract with The Terrors last summer, joining their under-18 squad.

He previously progressed through the Dundee United academy, after stepping up from Linlithgow Rose BC.

The loan agreement, which runs until the end of the season, was completed this afternoon.

Danny Lennon said:-

“Scott is a highly-rated young player and when the opportunity arose for him to go out on loan, it had to be the right club. Through our connection and relationship with Scott’s agent we were able to provide that placement at Clyde. He trained with us this week and we liked what we saw.

“I’d like to thank Dundee United for allowing us to take Scott on loan and he’ll provide extra depth in the squad as we go into an exciting and busy run-in.”
