Danny Wins January Award

Danny Lennon has been named as the Ladbrokes League 2 Manager of the Month for January.

The Bully Wee took maximum points from the three fixtures played during the month, with a home win over Cowdenbeath and away victories at Berwick Rangers and promotion rivals Peterhead.

Speaking to the official website, the Clyde manager said:-

“It is more positive, good news for everyone at the club when an award like this comes along. It is recognition of all the good things that are going on at the club. 

“We are on a fantastic run of eleven games unbeaten throughout all of November, December and January. We have also now won six in a row, only conceding one goal in 540 minutes of football. 

“This award is for everyone at Clyde who has contributed to this fine run of form. For the fans who have put their hand in their pocket, for the board who have the club running on a very professional footing and for the players and backroom staff who are working incredibly hard and applying everything they have to move this fine club up the league.”
