PREVIEW: Edinburgh City v Clyde

The Bully Wee will travel to the capital tomorrow to take on the current Ladbrokes League 2 leaders, Edinburgh City.

The Citizens have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season, which included a win at Broadwood in August, and are two points clear at the top of the table.

For Clyde, Barry Cuddihy returns after missing last week’s defeat to Peterhead through injury. Tom Lang, however, is suspended after being sent off in that match.

Speaking to the official website today, Danny Lennon started by acknowledging the disappointment around recent results:-

“Every team goes through a bad patch during a season and the last few weeks has been ours. As a group, we have all contributed to that and I will hold my own hands up as well. We will all take a collective responsibility to turn the results around and we know that we are good enough to do that.

“A couple of positive results will get us back close to where we want to be. I’d say that there is no better time to be playing the league leaders as we know that we will have to be at our absolute best to get the right result.

“Hats off to Edinburgh, they’ve had a terrific start. They don’t concede many goals and have been able to use that platform to get a lot of points on the board.”

Admission prices at Ainslie Park are; adults £12, concessions £6 and under-12s free.
