PREVIEW: Annan Athletic v Clyde
The 2018-19 Ladbrokes League 2 season continues tomorrow, with The Bully Wee travelling to Annan Athletic.
The Galabankies have made an excellent start to the season, with three wins and a draw, including a fine 3-0 victory at Berwick Rangers last week.
For Clyde, Jordan Stewart is ruled out again due to a back injury. However, David Goodwillie returns to the squad after attending the birth of his daughter last weekend.
Speaking to the official website, Danny said:-
“Tomorrow will definitely be a big challenge. Annan are very good at what they do and they’ve made a great start to the campaign.
“For us, it’s about how we respond to the disappointing couple of weeks that we’ve had. It’s how you react to failure that defines you. We’ve got a group that doesn’t like losing and I know that we have big characters, so we’ve got to see them now.
“Three points would give everyone a big lift and that’s what we’re aiming for.
“We also welcome David back and I’d like to congratulate him and the rest of the Goodwillie family on his wonderful news.”
In terms of potential additions to the squad, the Clyde manager added:-
“We are still actively seeking to add to the group. We have lost out on a couple, which is not unusual, but everyone at the club is working really hard to try and bring players in.”
Annan Athletic has advised the club of the following matchday information and changes:-
