PREVIEW: Stranraer v Clyde
The Bully Wee will travel to Stranraer tomorrow, as both clubs take part in their third match in Group G of the Betfred Cup.
The Blues recorded an impressive draw and penalty-kicks victory over Motherwell at Stair Park at the weekend; a result which leaves a lot to play for this week for all teams involved in the group.
Speaking to the official website this evening, Danny Lennon had no fresh injury concerns to report, but did reveal that he would consider line-up changes following last week’s match at Queen of the South. He said:-
“At this stage of the summer, it’s great to have competitive action and against opposition from higher leagues, which brings its own challenges. We are still very much looking toward the start of the league campaign and that means making use of the full squad during this busy period.
“However, as I said before, we also want to do well in every competition we play in and we want to finish the group as positively as we can.”
Admission prices at Stair Park have been set at £12 for adults and £6 for concessions. As a reminder, in the event of a draw after 90 minutes, penalty kicks will decide which team earns an additional bonus point.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
Also in Group G tomorrow, Motherwell host section leaders Queen of the South at Fir Park.
