NEW SIGNING: Joe Gorman

The club is pleased to announce the signing of Joe Gorman on a one-year contract.

Joe is a 23-year-old central or left-sided defender and a former Irish youth international. He had spells with Inverness, Bray Wanderers and Maidenhead United earlier in his career, before featuring for Airdrie between 2016 and 2017.

Most recently, Joe was with Blyth Spartans in the North of England and he today put pen to paper on a deal with The Bully Wee.

Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-

“Joe is a guy with a good pedigree and he’s at a good age. He’s come in and trained very well with us and he’s someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s an athletic player with a cultured left foot.

“He ticks a lot of boxes for us and he was hungry to move here from Newcastle and be a part of what we want to achieve at Clyde.”
