Loan Deals End

Following the conclusion of the 2017-18 Ladbrokes League 2 season yesterday, five players will now return to their parent clubs after loan spells with Clyde.

Mark Lamont, from Partick Thistle, made a big contribution over the season, particularly during the second half of the campaign. In total he featured in 28 matches, scoring twice and adding five assists.

Dylan Cogill and Jack Boyle will return to Huddersfield Town after joining The Bully Wee in January and going on to play a big part in the club’s revival in fortunes. Both men played in 16 matches and impressed supporters with their performances.

Dundee’s Kyle Gourlay and Alloa Athletic’s Adam Martin had less time on the field but nonetheless had an important role in an overall squad effort during a very busy period of matches.

Mark, Dylan, Jack, Kyle and Adam all leave Clyde with best wishes for their future careers.

The club would also like to thank Partick Thistle, Huddersfield Town, Dundee and Alloa Athletic.
