PREVIEW: Stirling Albion v Clyde
Two in-form teams will meet in Ladbrokes League 2 tomorrow, as Clyde make the short journey to Forthbank.
The Binos have won their last four matches and The Bully Wee have five victories in a row, with both teams aiming to prolong those runs in what is usually a very competitive fixture.
For Clyde, Kieran Duffie and Max Wright return to contention following injury, but Jack Breslin is still expected to be ruled out.
Speaking to the official website this afternoon, Danny Lennon said:-
“We can take positive confidence from the way we have been playing recently. If we can be at it in the way that we have been, then I think it will be a very good game tomorrow. Stirling are also on a very good run of form and it will be two teams that are battling for three very valuable points.
“We are trying to close the gap to the teams above us, but Stirling will be doing the same with the top two. They aren’t far from challenging to win the league and they’ve definitely clawed themselves back into it again.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve always enjoyed going to Forthbank as a player and a manager. Likewise, Allan (Moore) has a great history at Stirling Albion and he has great memories there as well. However it is now all about what we are trying to achieve for Clyde and we want to keep the positive momentum going, ahead of a very testing period coming up.
“The supporters were very vocal again last week and the players really thrive off that, so more of the same tomorrow would be really appreciated by us all.”
Clyde fans will be housed in the East Stand at Forthbank. Admission prices are; adults £13, seniors & students £9, under-16s £5, under-12s free.
